Capacity building Capacity Building is the process which aims to improve, and retain the skills, knowledge, tools, equipment and other resources needed to do our jobs competently or to a greater capacity. One of the Mandates of ESWALA is to build the capacity of its members to serve the library and information profession of the country
In-service TrainingESWALA engages its members in in-service training by identifying the skill sets lacking through its skills audit. In-service training are essential to build capacity and to uprise the members of what is current in the industry. Inservice trainings are done using experts in the field
Advocacy Through the establishment of Advocacy steering committee (ASC), ESWALA provides an advocacy work plan and library advocacy training.
building partnerships Consotitums and partnerships are important backbones of the library and Information Profession. ESWALA provides an effective policy and guidelines for effective coordination of information sharing and accountability.
